📅 Key Dates

Ticket Sales Start: 2nd February 2025 at 10:00 AM via StageStubs
Dress Rehearsal: Sunday, 27th April 2025 at Ripley Academy, Peasehill, Ripley DE5 3JQ
Show Weekend: Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th May 2025 at Landau Forte College, Fox Street, Derby DE1 2LF

NEW FOR 2025: Additional rehearsal weekend on 5th and 6th April - highly recommended for non-holidaying students!

Sunday 27th April

Location: Ripley Academy (up the road from JL)

Main Schedule

Arrival: 9:45 AM (ready to start at 10:00 AM)
Estimated Finish: 4:30 PM

Special Arrangements

Teenie/Lilac Group Finish: 12:00 PM

🎭 Show Weekend Schedule

Location: Landau Forte College, Fox Street, Derby DE1 2LF

Saturday 3rd May

10:00 AM: Arrival
10:30 AM: Dress Rehearsal
1:30 PM: Lunch Break
2:30 PM: Matinee Show
6:30 PM: Evening Show
9:30 PM: Estimated Finish

Sunday 4th May

11:00 AM: Arrival
11:30 AM: Team Time
12:30 PM: Lunch Break
1:30 PM: Matinee Show
5:30 PM: Evening Show
8:30 PM: Estimated Finish

Special Arrangements for Teenies

Saturday Arrival: 1:00 PM
Sunday Arrival: 12:00 PM
Option to sign out between shows
Can leave after their second show performance each day (or stay for finale)

💃 Preparation & Requirements

Hair & Makeup

Hair in ballet bun before arrival
Stage makeup required for show days

What to Bring

All costumes, shoes, and accessories
Packed lunch and drinks (must have lids!)
Entertainment items for backstage (nothing that could damage costumes)
Everything clearly labelled!

💫 Costs & Commitments

Essential Fees

Dress Rehearsal & Finale T-Shirt: £35.00 (non-refundable, invoiced after opt-in)

Costume Estimates (based on 2022/23)

Teenies, Mini’s & Juveniles: ~£35.00 per costume
Juniors: ~£45.00 per costume
Inters & Seniors: ~£60.00 per costume

Please budget for one costume per dance style. These prices are averages only - actual costume costs may be higher or lower depending on the specific requirements of each dance. All costume fees are non-refundable.

You likely have most of these items already from your regular classes, but please check you have them all ready for the show:

Shimmer/Satin Tights
Jazz Shoes
Satin Ballet Shoes
Seamless Underwear
Hair Accessories
Black Trainers (finale)
Black/JL Leggings (finale)

Note: All accessories must match studio-provided items exactly

👥 Backstage & Support

Dressers

Volunteer team essential for smooth running
Only staff and dressers allowed backstage
Interested in helping? Register with Gill at reception
First Aid, Safeguarding and/or Chaperone training required!

Safety & Security

Sign-in/out required for all students
No unauthorized backstage access
Personal items brought at owner’s risk
Professional recording on Sunday - no audience photography/recording
