Our youngest dancers have two routes: parent-and-toddler babyballet® classes for children dancing with a grown-up, and independent Pre-School Dance and Acro sessions for children aged 2½ to school age.
babyballet® Derby North and East
Parent and Toddler
For younger dancers attending with a grown-up, our babyballet® Derby North and East classes are the best place to start. These sessions introduce basic movement, rhythm, confidence and bonding through dance.
These are parent-and-child classes, so grown-ups join in and support their child throughout the session. Read more about babyballet® classes here.

Pre-School Dance and Acro
A Saturday morning class pair for children aged 2½ to school age. Pre-School Dance introduces music, movement, coordination and simple routines, followed by Pre-School Acro with safe balance, rolling, flexibility and confidence-building skills.
Many children do both sessions together, but you can book the option that suits your child best. These are independent dance classes, with parents welcome to stay close by while children enjoy class in the studio. Read our FAQs.
